Teto, this post is for you as the main responsible for my initiation into Fernet! Last week we met with Juan, Mafu, Marco, Angie, and Pato in Milan to start our year-end holidays, and Pato had the great idea of meeting at the factory of Fernet Branca. We were greeted by one of its directors whom, in addition to showing us the museum and tell a lot of stories and myths about the creation of Fernet, took us to see the barrels where all spirits are aged. One of them is aged in a giant barrel since 1892, and the barrel was never emptied more than a third of its capacity. Obviously the visit ended with a tasting :)
